Bussum, Netherlands, 1 April , 2010: Dr. R.C.Gallo recently joined the editorial board of the journal "Infectious Disorders – Drug Targets" (http://www.bentham.org/cdtid/) published by Bentham Science Publishers.

Dr. R. C. Gallo is a U.S. biomedical researcher. He is best known for his co-discovery of the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), the infectious agent responsible for the Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS), and he has been a major contributor to subsequent HIV research. Dr. Gallo is the director of the Institute of Human Virology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland.
